Synopsis
In 1938, ten-year-old Abraham Gafni, a Jew from Innsbruck, Austria, was forced to flee the Nazis, leaving behind his grandparents and little sister, whose murders would haunt him for the rest of his life. Decades later, in a different world, thirteen-year-old Enzo, a boy glued to his online games, found himself reluctantly on a trip from Austria to Israel. There, he crossed paths with Abraham, now ninety years old. At first, Enzo was bored out of his mind, but when Abraham began sharing stories of his past, Enzo’s ears perked up. Through the old man’s tales of survival and loss, Enzo came to see the deep value of humanity and the power of friendship.
